Education is more than simply transferring knowledge--it is building lives. A core tenet of my teaching philosophy is the belief that research in mathematics and teaching mathematics go hand-in-hand. I sincerely believe that the marriage of research and teaching, combined with an infectious enthusiasm is the key to great teaching. It is my passion for teaching that continues to be a driving force in my journey to become a better teacher. Perhaps one of the best feelings in this world is the satisfaction of knowing you have made a difference in the life a college student.
